The 212SKIN | AL Dermatology PC opened on August 8, 2013 as the main office of Lyubov Avshalumova, DO.
Dr. Avshalumova is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. She started practicing dermatology in New York City in 2010 working with groups on Upper East Side locations. Now, with emergence of the Wall Street and Seaport areas as major residential neighborhoods, we are proud to open the completely new Dermatology Office on the interior courtyard of Southbridge Towers just northeast of the intersection of Fulton and Gold Streets in the Seaport area.
Dr. Avshalumova specializes in medical, surgical, cosmetic dermatology, and cares for both adult and pediatric patients. She graduated at the top of her medical school class and was recognized by Psi Sigma Alpha, a national Honor society of osteopathic medicine. Dr.Avshalumova was awarded the Koprice Educational Award for best resident presentation at the annual American Osteopathic College of Dermatology meeting in 2009, as well as received the Intendis Research Paper Award for her work as a chief resident.
